From this deep connection with creation, in spring 2020 – in the midst of the Covid lockdown – a simple but powerful idea emerged: to live more consciously. More mindfully. More sustainably. In harmony with nature.

Thus the "Tisanes de Taizé" were born.

Our herbal teas are more than just a drink – they are an expression of an attitude. The plants grow in our 1,800 m² garden or are collected with respect and care in the vicinity of Taizé: in meadows, hedges, and forests. Entirely without artificial fertilizers or pesticides.

Each plant tells its own story: of wild herbs, fragrant blossoms, and healing traditions dating back to Hippocrates, Hildegard von Bingen, or Confucius. We combine these traditional recipes with new, finely tuned compositions – for body, mind, and soul.

Gently dried in the dark under the roof of an old barn, the herbs retain their full aroma and natural power. They are packaged exclusively in recyclable or compostable materials – out of respect for the earth that produced them.

If we add spices, they come from fair trade sources. In this way, we support sustainable agricultural projects worldwide.

Behind every tea are people: brothers of our Community who passionately garden, gather, blend, and package – some of them over 80 years old. Since 2024, a local employee has also joined our garden team.

The result?
A tea that not only tastes good – but also does good.
